The Sustainable Furnishings Council is a non-profit balanced coalition of industry players founded at High Point, North Carolina, US in October 2006 to promote sustainable practices among manufacturers, retailers, and consumers alike. The SFC recognizes the overwhelming scientific consensus that our world is experiencing dangerous global climate change. SFC members acknowledge the tremendous urgency, and will take immediate steps to minimize carbon emissions, waste stream pollutants, un-recyclable content and primary materials from unsustainable sources from any product platform under our control. SFC members support the triple bottom line of PEOPLE - PLANET - PROFITS and will lead the industry in developing awareness of best practices throughout their supply chains. Members will accomplish this goal by increasing their purchases from suppliers that show continual improvement toward meeting our high standards.

The Cebu Furniture Industries Foundation, Inc. (CFIF) is a primary industry support organization of furniture manufacturers and exporters in the Philippines. It acts as the voice of the country's furniture export industry and serves as its rationalizing body, guiding its developmental efforts and providing a venue for discussion and resolution of industry-related issues. Established in 1974, CFIF is envisioned as a support organization to Cebu's furniture industry, strengthening cooperation among members and responding to the needs of the industry's international markets.

Cebu FAME Incorporated was established in 1987 with the initial membership of fifteen (15) exporters. Today, this non-profit association has been converted into a Foundation and increased its membership to ninety(90). These members represent majority of the total number of exporters of the industry in the whole country. FAME Foundation holds office at the Costume Jewelry Center, a facility established through the support of the Export Development Council, Department of Trade and Industry and Department of Science & Technology. It provides its members with information, organizes training activities, seminars and workshops and promotes and markets the industry through group participation in international trade fairs and Selling Missions.

The Philippine Exporters Confederation, Inc. is the umbrella organization of Philippine exporters accredited under the Export Development Act (EDA) of 1994. The European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) is a service-oriented organization whose main goal is to foster close economic ties and business relations between the Philippines and Europe. The ECCP sees itself as the stepping stone for Europeans into the Philippine market and for Filipinos into the European market.
